Rev Ngira Simmonds, Missioner for Waikato, and Rev Ellen Bernstein, Vicar of Tamahere, examined Luke 24:13-34 and the encounter with the risen Christ on the Road to Emmaus in the second Keynote of the 2015 Theological Hui.
Looking more deeply at this encounter with Jesus they reflected on it's meaning for the life of the Church and how we might avoid the risk of living only as 'post-resurrection Christians'.
